Local-installation planning · no obligation
Prepare a complete heat pump water heater installation quote
Choose a model, then open its current seller prices and installation quote scope in one click. Home-project questions are optional.
No questionnaire required
Go straight from a model to quote options
- 1Choose the exact model
Open any current buying guide and use its quote-options button.
- 2See current equipment prices
Review one to six seller checks when current evidence is available—without entering home details.
- 3Request one complete installed price
Use the six-part scope so local installers price the same model and work.
No account or answers are required to start. The optional planner stays in the current response and is not uploaded, saved, emailed, or sent to an installer.

The optional planner uses dropdown lists only. Choose “Not sure” whenever a home fact has not been confirmed.

Details that can improve an installed quote
You can skip these details at first. If you later use the planner, every requested answer is a finite dropdown choice and “Not sure” is always available.
- Whether a specific model is selected or help choosing is requested
- Existing water-heater fuel and tank situation
- Household and busiest-hour hot-water context
- Proposed installation location and access
- Known electrical situation
- Project timing and homeowner status
Compare equal scopes
Ask each installer to itemize the same work
Use this checklist to compare complete scopes, not just a low equipment number. Confirm the exact model and delivered project scope before comparing bids.
Questions to ask before accepting a bid
Is the exact model written into the quote?
Require the exact model or an explicitly reviewed alternative. Family names and gallon classes do not establish identical dimensions, first-hour delivery, circuit needs, sound, controls, ducting, clearances, or warranty terms.
Does the quote include all electrical and plumbing work?
Ask who is responsible for the circuit, breaker, disconnect, panel work, water connections, drain pan, condensate route, permits, inspection, and any fuel-line decommissioning.
What could change the price after work begins?
Ask the installer to identify exclusions, allowances, access assumptions, code contingencies, permit costs, delivery constraints, and change-order rules before work starts.
Can this site send my project to an installer now?
Not yet. You can prepare the project brief, but this site does not currently collect contact details, match installers, send a lead, or claim a contractor relationship.
